NFL Update Going into Week 9
Man, as of week 8 there were a lot of really bad teams so far this season – St. Louis (0-7), Tampa Bay (0-7), Tennessee (0-6), Kansas City (1-6), Cleveland (1-6) and Detroit (1-5) with the Redskins, Seahawks, Raiders and Panthers not too far behind with only two wins. Can it get any worse for these teams?
Well in week 8: A touchdown with 21 seconds to play gave San Diego Chargers a 21-20 win against the New York Giants. Michael Turner starred as the Atlanta Falcons beat the Washington Redskins 31-17. Seattle Seahawks came from 17-0 behind to defeat the Detroit Lions 32-20. New Orleans Saints have made the best start in their history after beating Carolina Panthers 30-20. The Dallas Cowboys beat the Philadelphia Eagles 20-16 in the 100th meeting between the teams. Cincinnati Bengals ground out a 17-7 win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. The Tennessee Titans upset the 49ers in San Francisco with a 34-27 road win at Candlestick Park. Indianapolis kept their 100 per cent record intact with a 20-17 victory over Houston.
